Cusano P1 is a Bundled Delight

Cusano deconstructed

To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I smoked a bundled cigar.  Cusano bundle P1And, if I didn’t know that this stick was a bundled product, I couldn’t have tasted a difference.  Bundled cigars are frequently made using left over or scrap tobacco.  It is not seconds in the sense that it is inferior in any way, but rather, it may be trimmings from other cigars or the end of the bale of tobacco that the roller takes.  Since it is frequently already cut, the filler is said to short fill.  Many short fill bundles cigars are indeed bad.   But, not all.  The Cusano bundled cigars, there are four flavor profiles, are well made (as you can see in the deconstruction video) and nice smoking.

My cigar looked great and lit easily.  I thought that the flavor was medium bodied but not harsh.  Cusano makes these bundles in 4 flavors ranging from mild to full bodied.  Cusano P1 BandI expect to try each of them and review them together.

In the 40 minutes that I smoked the cigar I had a nice even flavor with out any bitterness.  From a standpoint of value it’s hard to find something wrong with a $2. cigar that tastes good.
