Camacho Connecticut Exceeding Expectation

Camacho ConnecticutHaving grown up in the business Christian Eroia ha created a powerhouse brand in Camacho cigars.  Acquired by Davidoff a few years ago, Camacho continues to produce cigars worthy of the reputation of both Davidoff and Eroia.  I was looking for a mild smoke and the last thought was Camacho but, someone suggested that I give the Connecticut a try.

With a beautiful golden brown wrapper the Camacho cigar looked beautiful.  It clipped and lit without a problem.  It produced nice smoke.

This cigar was well built.  It had an open draw burning coolly throughout.  The stick held a nice tight edge and burned evenly.  I was smoking with a group of friends and not paying much attention to the cigar yet it burned without trouble.

Flavors are mild and interesting.  First tastes are of vanilla and cream.  As the cigar progresses a coffee presence becomes noticeable.  For most of the smoke this cigar is like a good cup of cappuccino, one you want to go back for more.   Towards the end, a little nutmeg and cinnamon come to the front.  Maybe the foam is tickling my nose.  This is a light bodied or ‘breakfast’ cigar.  It has no discernible after taste.

At around $6 it’s a good value.  I enjoyed this cigar and would recommend it as a mid morning smoke, or perhaps, a cigar for someone new to smoking.  In this vein it is easily enjoyed by all.
