Gurkha News Update

To be honest, I was a recent convert to Gurkha cigars.  Friends and other CigarMayven.com reviewers has smoked and enjoyed them for years.  But, the first one I tried a number of years ago did nothing for me.  Recently however, I had the opportunity to smoke one and realized that I had been missing out on a good cigar.  Their many lines have some great smokes and I have enjoyed a number of them over the past few months.

So I was excited to receive an email this morning indicating that the company that owns Gurkha cigars was changing it’s name form the Beach Cigar Group to Gurkha Cigar Group.  This change which coincides with the brands 125th anniversary.  The press release also talks about the history of the name and sheds some insight into future plans.  Or, specifically be on the lookout for a Gurkha 125th Anniversary cigar later in the year.
