San Lantano Maduro
What is with cigars these days and the bands? It’s been a long time since I have seen a cigar with a nice old fashioned band. The San Lantano has two bands, one with the mark and the other telling you that is is the Maduro. I think I might have noticed.
This is a nice looking cigar. It has an oily dark wrapper and a nice feel to it. It clipped easily and lit without problem.
The flavor of this cigar was much more mild than I expected. Most maduro cigars have a bit of a bite and some sweetness. This delivered on the sweetness without the spice. I tasted chocolate and cream throughout. The flavors didn’t really change much for the entire smoke, but it was very enjoyable.
The cigar is well constructed burning evenly with a nice ash and a crisp edge.
At about 6 bucks, it is in a sweet price spot. I think if you want a mellow well made cigar this would be a great smoke. I really liked it and would definitely add this to my humidor.
