No Kudos for Kuuts Miro

Miro

Kuuts has their cigar factory in the Danli region of the Honduras where they make their Kuuts Nicaraguan, Placeres, Miro and Zapata brands. At the 2014 IPCPR Kuuts gave me a Miro 6 X 52 toro to review. The Miro brand has a Sumatran wrapper around a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan/Honduran filler. It comes in 5 sizes ranging from a 4 X 48 Momento to a 6 X 60 Gordo.

The 6 X 52 toro was an average looking cigar, firm and with no soft spots. The draw had resistance just above mild with an average ash. The flavor started with dark chocolate and leather but by the middle this had taken on hints of nutmeg. The flavors were never very strong and the cigar is more medium bodied than full. The smoke volume was average and it took an hour and 20 minutes to finish the cigar. This was an average cigar and rates an overall of 3 out 5 with an SRP of $7.1.
