Casa Torano
A few weeks ago I visited Jack Torano at his warehouse in Miami. We shared stories and cigars. While he was talking about being able to smoke in the office, he mentioned that for most of the staff the Casa Torano was their preferred stick to smoke during the day. So I was not surprised to find that originally this cigar was only available at rolling events and was somewhat rare. Nowadays, you can find it at your favorite premium cigar dealer
I chose this stick as my breakfast cigar last week while in Las Vegas watching the NCAA basketball. It proved an excellent choice. Upon first look the cigar is very appealing. It has a nice silky finish and a light brown color (I was smoking the natural wrapper). The cigar clipped easily and lit well. Occasionally, with lesser quality cigars the cap on a torpedo is too short and when clipped the wrapper begins to unravel. This is not an inferior cigar. It is well constructed and without flaw.
The cigar is very creamy with a hint of sweetness to it. I enjoyed the flavor profile which while interesting was not overpowering. I thought that I tasted cafe mocha through most of the cigar. I mentioned this to the guys at the bar and they thought that it was because that was my breakfast drink. When they looked down they noticed I was drinking bourbon.easy draw make this a good value for someone looking for a light and flavorful smoke. If you are just a new cigar smoker, this is the ticket. It will surely keep you coming back for more.
