CAO Last Stick Standing – C
This is the second of the three cigars that CAO wants smokers to chose the next blend. The first, not quite sure why I reviewed them out of order, A was reviewed at the end of last week. I thought it was an exceptionally well made stick with a very mild flavor profile.
This cigar is less subtle. It clipped and lit easily but as it was smoking it burned a bit unevenly and the cap was not well placed. I was surprised.
Flavors were definitely more intense that the previous stick but certainly not what I would call the light side of medium bodied. I enjoyed that there was a little more flavor and don’t think even mild smokers would be put off by this cigar. Overall, I think the flavor profile fits what most people look for in a nice cigar. Lots of nice smoke in a beautiful looking cigar with plenty of flavor that doesn’t overpower in any way.
As you know there is no value to this cigar since they are available free. I just yesterday got an email from a local bricks and mortar shop that had many of the tasting packs and there were free with the purchase of any other CAO cigars. This certainly seems fair.
My vote won’t go in until I’ve had a chance to smoke the third ‘O’ stick, but I prefered the C to the A.
