A Day Worthy of A Great Cigar
Many of you know that I am a Boston Red Sox fan. This afternoon I spent a delightful and tear-filled day at the High Temple of Baseball, Fenway Park, on its 100th birthday. Entering the park you were given a souvenir section from the Boston Globe, chronicling the past 100 years of Fenway.
With the music of Field of Dreams playing over 200 former Red Sox players slowly walked onto the field resuming their former positions. As I watched not only my, but others boyhood idols and grown mens dreams saunter onto Fenways emerald turf, I thought about what brings us together as a society. Shared memories are the fabric of human existence and that is frequently created by baseball and ofter created by good cigars.
When this baseball road trip concludes on Sunday we’ll return to the exciting business of reviewing cigars.
