C & C Corojo – A Simple Everyday Cigar
Just got a couple of new smokes form the NATO show in Las Vegas. This one from C and C Cigars is made by one of the brothers Cusano, formerly of Cusano cigars. I didn’t really know what to expect since I had been told that the retail price of the cigar was around $4.
When you first look at the cigar, it looks like a boring and ordinary stick. It has a nice reddish brown Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. It punched without a problem and lit easily. The first fw puffs had no obvious bitterness.
The taste of this smoke is one note. It has a spicy flavor like a black pepper, neither sharp nor offensive. I found that the taste did not vary at all for the entire smoke. It is neither full or mild but rather a middle of the road cigar.
The cigar smoked well. It remained lit burning evenly for its entire time. It held a nice medium gray ash.
At around $4. this is intended as an every day cigar. And, it delivers all it promises, a nice even well made smoke. If you like a slightly spicy cigar, this is for you.
