El Cuje Rebumbio -An Unknown Cigar
It’s rare when I am stumped. While I may not have smoked every cigar that’s out there, I have heard of most of them. This stick was presented to me at last summers IPCPR trade show. And, when I finally extracted it from the humidor just the other day, it presented itself quite well. And, if you know about this cigar, please contact me or post a comment. Regardless of my confusion, I enjoyed this smoke.
The shape that I smoked was interesting a petit torpoedo. It was very nicely constructed, burning evenly and holding a tight ash. In fact, the ash grew to more than half of the 4+” cigar.
Flavor was good, woodsy with leather and cedar at the start mellowing into a nice creamy middle and picking up some spice for the end.
Sadly, I can’t share with you further details of this smoke since the manufacturer hasn’t seen fit to return our inquiries. Nevertheless, if you can find one at what you deem to be a reasonable price, you’ll enjoy it!
