News and Notes
Last week was a busy week. Two of your reviewers spent the day at TPE in Las Vegas, listening to news about the goings on in the cigar world. With the travel and all there was barely time for a cigar.
- Saw a sneak peek of a new triple entubar at Berger & Argenti. These guys are doing crazy things with cigars. They have basically a cigar within a cigar now and are taking that to the next level with a triple cigar. I expect that it won’t be ready for a while since there were no smoking samples at the show.
- Ben met with David Rafaeli of Rafaeli’s . He has a nice line of sticks that we will be reviewing in the near future.
- CAO has announced a maduro version of their popular La Traviata Luminosa
- General Cigar has announced that they will be making a Gigante (6 x 60) version in their Macanudo Maduro and Cafe lines
The humidor is now stocked for the next few weeks. I have seen what some of our guys will be reviewing and there are some interesting sticks. As for me, I can’t decide what to smoke until the SuperBowl starts and I see if my Patriots are going well.
