La Aroma de Cuba has announced a line extension for the first time.  They are adding a 5 1/4 x 56 called Duque.  Obviously, this is to cater to the demand for large ring cigars.  it should be in the retailers soon.

Romeo y Julietta announced this week a new cigar entitled the Romeo.  It is said to be full bodied made in the Dominican Republic.

Another App

Cigar Boss, previously available only for iOS, is now available for Android as well.  This app allows you to keep track of your cigar inventory and tasting notes.  Free with ads or as a Pro version for $2.99.

CigarMayven Miami

For the past couple of months whenever I have business in Miami, I find a little extra time to visit the cigar manufacturers.  Each of these visits has been a treat.  They are usually about an hour and the opportunity to learn about the cigars and their producers as well as get the inside news on what is to come.  There is also some good cigar smoking involved.  Why do I tell you this?  Well, frankly, to make you jealous.  But then that wouldn’t be fair.  So, as a heads up, we are looking for a date this fall when we will have an event called CigarMayven Miami where you will have the opportunity to join others on a guided tour and visit to several of the Miami based cigar producers.  Details and dates for the vent are still a ways off, but start thinking about your plans to attend this fun event.
